Our Team

Originally from Pittsburgh, JJ came to New York for college and clean city-rivers. His lifelong affinity for dogs began with Heidi, the family Beagle. He took exceptional care of her for many years and, in transition to life in New York, was happy to find out that his new roommate had a Great Dane, Deuce. He helped take great care of Deuce and they quickly became best friends. JJ loves sports, having been on both the soccer and track teams in high school (not to mention the 4th string bowling team!) When not getting his Happy Pants on, JJ creates sketch comedy and hosts trivia nights throughout the city (see Rachel!) He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts, from New York University. His favorite character is R2D2. JJ declares, ‘he saves the day in 5 of the 6 Star Wars films.  That’s a good batting average’.
